What is the best way to get to Gordons from Corona? Do you still take the 10 to the 86? Or do you take the 15 to the 8? Thanks in advance.

I live in temecule the best way for you is which is the shortest less time is to take the 15s to the 79s, through ocottile wells to the 86, I;ve done the 10 to the 86 and added over and hour to my travel time, it 15, to 79s, to the s2 just after wanner springs you'll see a power transformer you'll take a left, where you need to turn that will be the s2 stay on that till the end take a left and follow that to the 86.

I used to go that way with the smaller trailer, but the new one is a pain in the a$$ to pull through there.

From Corona I would take the 10 to 111 to the 86 to Westmorland. At the stop sign past the Shell station take a right, which is HWY S30. ( At the Shell station you can fill your water tanks, then dump your waste on your way back from G.W.) This will take you to the 8 FWY, takes about 20min. from the stop sign and is a very nice two lane road with very little traffic other than a few truckers.
This way you bypass going through Brawley traffic and all the traffic signals and if you need to stop for food or gas you always can in El Centro. This route is all flat with no grades or narrow canyon roads to deal with. Just set your cruise and enjoy the ride, only problem to deal with is the wind through Palm Springs area.
