It seems dat since da Slapsters favorite time of da year be endin, Slappy all of a sudden got thrown into that regular life stuff. Well, Slappy don't have an excuse anymore. No more, "Slappy headin to Mother Glamis, gotta wait till later". THAT PERFECT EXCUSE WAS MOTHER HERSELF. Oh how da Slapster miss her in more ways than one:
If there is a time that I need you, it is right now...all of a sudden...life got complicated...
I thought it was tough then...but all I had to do was go and see you...and it would be o.k...nothing to think about...just rip bowls...
everything I see now has a messege...too much to think about...what does it matter...well, I guess it does...regular life stuff you know...
but you are my regular life...I guess life just got irregular...I know what I'll do, I'll go chrome the rims again...no, damn...no more excuses left...
...it's gonna be a long summer...OOOOOOOOHHHHHHHH SLAPPY MISS YOU MOTHER....HURRY BACK!!!!!!!!!

Slappy, don't fret. mother G has not gone anywhere. Just keep watching the temps and when theresa brake in the weather, go for it bro. I've had the (I want to goo's) so bad that I have been seen there when it hits 115 plus degrees in August, the night rides are great. Don't let the summer stop you my friend, DUNE ON. Remember that mother can be forgiving at times.

Little Sahara is in Utah, along with the Coral Pink Dunes. A friend just got back and said the riding was great. The altitude is high though, 4500ft. at Coral Pink and I believe 6500ft. or so at Little Sahara. I'll check the flyers he brought back to make sure. And its closer than Coos Bay, Oregon.

Slappy the dunes in Oregon are great!! The temp. and at sea level too. Went Summer of 99, had a blast.
Coral Pink is still too hot in the summer and the attitude will make your motor hot faster...
Nothing is better than Glamis though.
