I've only posted here and there but love to read and the post. What a crack up. I believe Kennie is the master mind behind the Slappy Thing. But do we really want to figure it out. Yes and No.

Evidence on Kennie:
1.-He says he Coordinates the Laughlin River Run (if thats true thats a big event, takes a lot to pull that off)
2.-He taunts us with the mystery to figure it out, why?
3.-Look how he does the gatherings, he pulls them off.
4.-The never ending story in Slappy's forum.
5.-Notice Slappy is never around when Kennie is, and when Kennie is gone Slappy is around.
6.-Plus what Black Baja says makes sense too.

Candidates that would help Kennie maybe are:
FHJ
VOR
DUNE
TACO (plays dumb but is he)

i beleive alot of things but taco...hahahah bam and fireballsocal.... anything but the taco! kennie is gotta be one but the theory about kennie no slappy, slappy no kennie ... that one is not true i have verified that i have been at kennies on times when slappy has posted. kennie's lap top was at work not even with him. he has no computer at home if he dosnt bring home his lap top. trust me on that i am at kennie's house all the time at least five days a week.... so it has to be a team thing

Im thinkin its someone who we havent met. It would ruin Slappy's Slogan "Who the Hell is Slappy" if we knew and it wouldnt be a such mystery. I just sit back and enjoy his storys and his riddles and yes I do wonder who it is. The above mentioned have passion for mother G but I dont they could pull it off. Plus none of them just sip the suds they pound the suds.

Slappy promised the day they lift the closures that he would come out and celebrate with us all... Until then... Im sure he will keep us all wondering.....

I think Slappy is actually Cal Ripken Jr. I don't have any evidence to support my theory, it's just a gut feeling.

Like I have posted before. I go to Glamis all the time, been going for many years. I have not had the chance to go to any of the gatherings yet but plan on gonig for the first one in October. I might be able to go to the Laughlin one if I can get that weekend off from work. Pending still.

But back to the Slappy issue. The mystery of Slappy is a wonderful thing and it does get our minds working. But I agree with you BlackBaja that it could be Kennie. Alot of things do point to him. What do you think?

Seriously though I believe Slappy is Slappy and that's all there is to it. I've received e-mail from slappy and a look at the headers is enough to convince me he's nobody but himself.

Da Banshee Gal be rememberin the old board, it was all McStumpified. My first post was after New Years & the 2-wheeler incident. I was lookin for Slappy everyhere! It seemed FHJ & Slappy not be appreciatin each other like they be now. We is all Brotheren & Sisterin now! Missed the Jessie thing, it was all McStymied by then.

I was just sitting here thinking about who Slappy is. Yeah, everyone might think its either Kennie or Kurt. I have a feeling its someone else. He started me on the idea that it was Kurt, but after reading some of the Slappy post I do not believe it is Kurt any more. Yes he posts on this board as well as others. He is very well spoken and has an XXXXX-Large Passion for Mother-G. Slappy says he only rides at Mother-G, to make you think he is someone else, so you will not guess who he is. This person has a passion for riding the dunes, anytime he can. Slappy has a great imagination and thinks a lot his riddles and his posts.
I will not post my guess just yet, but soon. The real question is if someone does guess it will he even tell us if we are correct or not?

I remember thinking "God, I hope this guy dosen't always talk like this" the first time Slappy posted on the old board. But by the end of a week I was getting used to it Now I don't know what I'd do without my Slappy fix.

My newest thought as to who the Slapster is. I like to think he keeps his identity secret because he's too well known in the popular media to reveal himself. And I remember how the Slapster has hinted at being a "duning brother" several times. And I've always thought that Slapspeak reminded me of something. Then it hit me. Slappys Eddie Murphy!

Slapspeak sounds like a lot of Eddies old SNL stuff to me, and with a couple of new movies coming out this summer of course he dosen't want to reveal his connection to something as controversial as Glamis! Oh, yeah I can see him now out there duning it up out and loving the anonymity that comes with the sand.

Then again I remember this past thanksgiving seeing what looked like an old crane chassis with a bunch of guys on it. I forget but has the Slapster ever confirmed that his ride is a tradional dune machine? My original image of Slappy as a Mountain Man would fit in good with him riding a machine that looks like it would need to be melted down to be usefull

Did anyone watch the Golf tournaments this past two weekends? They came thru Dallas/Ft.Worth and I was wearing my Slappy T-Shirt. These fellow Texans had a blast with the shirt. Everyone wanted to know who the Slapster was. Got some GREAT looks from them fine Texas sweeties, and some very ODD ones too. Of course, when the answer was "It's a Sand Thing!" they were clueless. Similar to the rest of us. Atleast i believe there is a chance of meeting this character. Slappy, we know you dance. But do you Golf? Peace
