Hello to my friends. Friends that are really much more like my family. A family that are first and foremost American citizens, and secondly my family of united duners. I know that for all of us our emotions have run high in the past days. This is a time of sorrow, grievance, and compassion for so many lives that have been lost. But also a time of extreme anger. Anger that cannot be described adequately. This recent tragedy to the American people is unimaginable.
So this brings us to the future. Our country will certainly change forever. Our lives will change. Our thoughts have already changed, and will certainly change many times over as we learn of events yet to come. In the shadow of this tradgedy, at least in my mind, is a much smaller tragedy that is the closing of our public lands by the terrorists known more commonly as the extreme environmentalists. In light of much bigger issues, I will not dwell on our land closure problems, but instead I will plead to all of you that we unite as Americans for one cause... freedom. Freedom against the threats of terrorism. Freedom to live our lives as we choose, the ideals this country was founded on. Freedom to take your kids to a baseball game... something you could not do the past couple days. And of course, freedom to enjoy the dunes and other off-roading areas of our country. These freedoms are supposed to be guaranteed to us by our government and our Constitution. I have no doubt our great country will fight back against these horrible, horrible attacks on our American citizens. At the same time, while less important to the average citizen, I hope we can win the fight against our domestic terrorists, namely the CBD, the group that would like to see our dunes closed completely. God Bless America, and God Bless the American people.
