I WONDER IF YOU CAN HEAR ME SPEAK
Many times I sit and talk to you,
I wonder if you can even hear me speak.
Sometimes I talk to you with out sound,
sometimes I whisper,
sometimes I talk to you aloud
and then others times I must yell.
You never ask me to wait.
You never ask me to come back another day.
You never turn away from me, even if I miss just one day.
You always seem to be where ever I am at that time of need.
When I am happy, you seem to laugh with me.
When I am hurting, you seem to cry with me
When I am afraid, you seem to comfort me.
When I am confused, you seem to set me straight.
I can always count on you to be there
when there is no one else around.
I never hear you, but you always seem
to be around every time I speak.
Even at the end of everyday as I sit on my bed and talk to you just once more before I fall asleep.
I wonder if you can even hear me speak.
