put a yoshi slip on pipe on the beast along with taking the airbox lid off and she already has a K&N. sputtering up top. but the question is, where do i start giving her more fuel? swap jets, raise needles or turn screws? and how much/what size?

Swap main jet, then start messing with the screws, everything I have read says dont worry about the needle. I would say a 10 point jump up would be a good start, the stock mufflers are pretty damn restrictive. Just a thought

Tank, still running stock carb? If so, buy the next few sizes up. Example....#160, #170, #180. I ran a #195 main, Alba pipe, open K&N. Check plug with each jet change. Hold wide open pulling a hill for a few seconds, pull the cluch, kill the motor at the same time......check plug for that slightly light brown color on the electrode. Only make one change at a time.
