A tip for all you stuck in the sand types. There is the golden rule-
A Jeep will not stop and pull you out when a bunch of weenies are waving it down. You have to qualify.
1. wave with beers
2. wave with cash
3. wave with your girls top that you just removed.
Simple things that please a Jeep....

IMHO you shouldn't even have to wave to a true duner unless you DON'T need help.

I know how that goes JR. Last weekend I sank the rear of my buggy getting used to the new motor. Had to lift the front and twist it out thankfully I had a BIG passenger with me user posted image

Then last night my buddy got his rail stuck after mine was down for the night with no clutch. And my truck still has no front driveline even if I could get it to where he was. If I even knew where he was - he just took off and didn't say where he was heading.
Luckilly a group of duners came by and found him. They used the GPS to take him back to camp and run him back with a shovel a hi-lift and a tow strap (I would have loved to see that 1641 buggy he came back in try to tow his V8 monster out!).

They then refused to let him continue to dune alone and romped with him for a bit before coming back to camp.

That's the type of true duner you don't have to wave at unless you DON'T need help because they'll stop and make sure you're alright otherwise.

Oh man to add to the trip out from hell with my Baja. A "friend" took it out and kiiled reverse in it, BUT me like a dumb ars took it out for a nite ride, came across a couple on a three wheeler making out, I (being a nice guy) stoped and asked if they were O.K. (Just to be sure user posted image) Of course they were user posted image So I continued on, getting stuck about 3 minutes later, and with no reverse I was having a hell of a time getting out, when the Love birds showed up. The guy, easily 6'13 desided to lift and push my P.O.S. out user posted image. Eventually, he broke a light off my rear light off my fender, but at the same time got me unstuck.

It took us a good half hour to get to this point. Sure he accidently broke my light but he got me out. He was SO cool he offered to replace/fix the light. OH NO WAY!! Never did I offer to give him anything! He just pulled up and got to work helping get my ride out. Then HE asked me how He could repay ME? What a true duner!!

Excuse me but I'll post this in the "heros" section now" too
