All we saw that night was headlight, taillight, headlight, taillight and a cloud of dust.

wow. that's all i can say. wow. I've rolled, endo-ed, and flipped my quad a number of times (ncluding two days ago) and i've NEVER had any front-end damage.
yeah the YFZ is a light bike, but those pics make me think there's no "there" in there.
if that makes sense....
Have to say I'd rather buy new a-arms than a new frame.

2 out of 3 of my friends that have YFZs have had the a arms break off, or bend to s*** in a wreck.

Glad he is okay, but I see that the Yam-crap tradition lives on.
Had a Raptor, same thing happened to me (except for the toe) that thing couldn't handle being ridden hard at all.
Now for my TRX250R....that thing just keeps taking it and dishing it out. Can't wait for the next TRX!@!

Flipped my YFZ last fall like that at the track. Bent tye rod end, handle bars and bent rear sub-frame.
Went for a rip the other day and the darn Decompression plug blew out....limped the machine back into my shop, stocked the stove (was -25 below outside) then went to go move the quad into her spot in the shop grabbing the rear grab bar and BANG, the effing thing broke right off. 350lbs and now I know why.
STILL the baddest effin machine out there though!!!
Glad you buds OK!!
