Pipe down squirt. Your a little new to be talkin to another new person like that.
As for Dumont, I learned how to ride in the sand there. Killer razors and a real comp hill called the wall. That's what the comp hill in G used to look like.

DUMONT IS ACTUALLY REALLY FUN. YOU HAVE GOOD RIDES, BIG DUNES AND ARE BACK AT CAMP WITHIN 45 MINUTES (IF YOU JUST DUNE). COOL DOWN THEN GO AGAIN!

Go often, dunes are excellent. Comp hill is a 1200 ft monster, and the place is orderly and super clean. A***oles are hooked up and hauled off to Jail without delay. If it gets blown out or rainy, we head to stateline for twoferabuck Coronas, and nickel slots. The newest fad is to GPS it to stateline thru the washes from Dumont (about a two hr trek).
The little dunes area is excellent for families, beginners, and little ones.

I will be there this weekend camping at the mini dues first ones you see on the right before the gravel road. Great little dunes for the wee ones safe and no one good rides them and it is only 5 minutes away. Y3 the first time I went there we parked at the last finger closest to the dunes and a 100 meters away was the biggest hill Ive seenhalf way up it even had a bowl in it. It can be scary cresting a double razor back that has a 300+foot drop on both sides. Some of the hills are so steep that when you go down them the sand follows you. At comp to the left and right is a no whoops no run at it hills due to the angle meeting the ground. It is a neat place to go for a change.

Rooms in Stateline are usually 20 bucks. If you call ahead, even cheaper, sometimes $12 on weekdays. The $3.95 buffets are worth 1. The 8 dollar buffets are worth 15. If you sniff around, free rollercoaster tickets can be had, or two rides for 5 bucks. The first drop is excellent.
My point being its too cheap to ride the dunes all day then drive a long way home.
I bet my 15 yr old daughter 50 bucks she wouldnt have the nerve to wear her bikini and take a lap around Dumont on her quad. I lost and she spent it at the Stateline outlet stores. She says the outlet stores are usually above average, and asked for another 50.
I RV it at Dumont, no water or dump station. Campfires are ok, but those who arrive with pallets to burn are grabbed by the back of their collar and belt loops and thrown out. Don't be seen with an open container. Zero tolerance and if it's glass they really do ya. Those without flags, usually 2 wheelers, are ticketed, and if seen again, arrested & hooked up on a petty county ordinance. It's strict! It's consistant.
Keep your eyes open,,lot's of tiny 3 yr old girls in Fox riding gear on micro quads, circling the little dunes all day long with stops only for a drink, gas, and a diaper change.
If it's a long stay, I give the girls camping in our group the crew cab and they head to Stateline for a one evening, girls trip diversion away from the testosterone. The guys have to suffer and pay for it. This popular event has grown to several trucks full of girls, and they're even printing "Girls Trip '02" T-shirts for the next run. Girls in any other camp or group are always welcome. They go for a cheap but big name show, outlet stores, and to pick up any supplies we're short on,,,damn,, always seem to be low on beer,,, did I drink that much??? Nahh,,,
