I think I may have overjetted the warrior. Im running 152.5 main jet and when I run the bike hard(Just up and down the street at WOT) I have a bit of black residue on the back quarter of my fmf mega max(five discs installed). The exhaust is new so im not sure if that is something to be expected. I have heard it is not nearly as bad to run it rich as it is to run it lean. The throtle response is still good and acceration is not a problem. I havent pulled the plug yet, but im planning on doing that tonight.
If I am rich should I back it down to a 151 or so. FMF's jetting page states that it should be 150-152. I figured that with the extra load of the paddles and the dunes I would be ok.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated

few questions...
have you modified the air filter and/or air intake?
what kind of gas you running?
if you dont run 91oct then you might want to consider it. a buddy of mine with a similar fmf exhaust on a raptor always ran 87 and when he would run 91 the pipe would be cleaner.
thumpers for me are hit and miss. i know alittle more about 2 strokes than 4. sorry i couldnt help.

Uni Filter with the air box lid off. 91 octane, and a full FMF system.
The black residue could be from the grease they use when manufacturing the pipe. Though unlikely. One way to tell if you are rich is to run it up to the limiter in 4th or 5th. If you cannot hit the limiter, you are too rich.

The only way to tell without expensive exaust analyzing equipment is to do a proper plug check. Grab your helmet and when the bike is fully warmed up, go down to the end of your street. Run through the gears as hard as you can till you hit fifth wide open. Pull in the clutch and shut the bike off at the same time, coasting into your garage to pull the plug.
On a carburated motor, I wouldn't be happy with my jetting if I didn't have a bit of carbon UNLESS I was tuning to race. If your bike is running that clean so that it doesn't produce any carbon, your jetting is extremely close to perfect and you run the risk of running lean with temp/humidity changes.
Great advice Fireball. Also, don't forget to put in a brand new plug before using his method. I don't do it that way because my plug is a b*tch to get out. I have to pull the tank to remove the plug.

I have to remove my tank and radiator scoops also.

I've managed to do it in 4 minutes before though so it's getting easier.

Im not super worried about it, I just want to make sure running rich wont damage anything. My buddy was riding behind me on my last test runa and said he didnt see any smoke puffing so i dont think I am too bad.
