Allright, here is the scenario! Sunday morning (sats out because of RIPSTER's wedding) at 9am at the start point for the drags. Come one come all, don't matter what you ride or drive, if it runs roll it! One stipulation though, this doesn't have to be a fast guy ride, but please no brand newbee's. I'd like to hold a decent pace and get some good duning done.

Lets get a head count and go from there.
HV will probably have a few heads from our camp with me.

HV, I will see if I can get my raptor working long enough for that ride, I will work on getting the parts tonight.

I'm in assuming Racerx63 is in. I am fairly new, but I think I can keep up just fine. If I am slacking, smack me in the nuts and leave me to die.

I'll try and make it...but my dune days are kind of up in the air for the next month or two My GF had eye surgury last thursday and is supposed to stay away from "Dusty or sandy areas" for at least a month

She was REAL bummed when she heard that as she was looking forward to a dune trip ASAP

So overnighters are pretty much out for me until she can go back in the sand....and the slow leak on my Dodge became a quick leak leaving it sitting on the rim just before we left for LA for her surgery a week ago. I went to jack it up to take the pressure of the tire...and found out that when my landlord tried to bleed the jack over T-day he mucked it up and it will no longer lift my truck So I had to leave it while we were in LA....well I got back on sunday and looked at my truck only to see that the sidewall has now separated from sitting like that

So I need to get a new tire for my truck before I can do a solo trip to the dunes

Arrrgggghhhh! Maybe I'll just take my Manx out sunday for a little cruise instead - so nice to have two reliable dune vehicles and one which is even street legal

You guys are sure trusting after what happened last group ride HV tried to set up.

I forgot that's the weekend that the ASDRA is going to be back in Yuma and I told In Excess I'd help in his pit as usual. But if anyone wants to swing by Yuma and cheer him on I could be persuaded to do another BBQ in the pits

We also have the 1st annual Yuma Hamfest (electronics fleamarket) that weekend and I need to see if I can score some good deals on used radios for the rest of my group.

Maybe I'll head out this saturday instead.

Well I still haven't installed an effin' trailer brake, gonna do that next Tuesday to be ready for next weekend...and now Ryan's whole camp bailed on him, they've all found different groups between Glamis, Ogilby, and Butterstuff...so we're going to just head up north to the usual spot.

How did the group ride go??? I was up saturday night till 4:ish with some chick that looked strangely like the one in my avatar and was in no shape to make this.

Dude, only daytona and a few of his buddy's and me, b.hobbs and kcsw were the only ones from the board who showed up. I skated outta camp on the kfx4me's quad because I still hadn't gotten the buggy fixed by that time and showed up and Daytona was there. We sat and waited and 10minutes later, a guy got bored and rolled. Can't blame him for that....I was bored too, but finally my crew showed and we took off and did our own ride.

This just never seems to wrok out, so I don't think I'm gonna try to do another one.
