I started listening after the introductions were made so it was hard for me to tell who was speaking, unless it was Pombo (his voice I do recognize).

Sounds like this could be a very great piece of legislation and will make a huge difference (best hope) if it doesn’t get so jammed up by opposing views that it will turn out to be total fluff (worst case).

My glass is always half full and so I see this as a very big step toward ESA reform.

I liked the push to put species protection above litigation. Gee, I wonder who that was aimed at?
