Full Version: My First Post In Tha Neighborhood
GlamisDunes.com > Glamis Community > Slappy's Neighborhood
Timmay
I have always been drawn to the dunes
Even as a little kid going to Glamis with my family
There was something about the pull of the dunes that drew me out of bed in the morning and kept me going way past dinner
It made a kid from the valley feel settled and at home
Somebody way back in my family had to have a love affair with the dunes
Somebody who felt their heart beat a little deeper when they were sitting by the fire under the stars and a full moon with a gentle breeze in their face, just staring at the horizon and soft silhouette
Or maybe they were kicked back after a long ride, listening to music, telling stories with whoever else might be sitting there, nowhere to be, nothing to prove, just the Glamis air and the best people around enjoying the freedom and the lifestyle we have come to love.
