So I am gonig to be changing the lighting coils on my LT500R. Is there anything I should know about doing this? I know I should solder the wires and I already have an ew gasket for the cover. Anything I should or shouldn't do? Anything to look out for?

sounds like you have the right idea....mine was really easy to do.

Some of the newer style like from ElectroSport have the stock plugs. If not soldering is a good bet. You may also need a flyweel puller...
