Couple compression fractures to my spine is all. Jumped a mound of sand in front of camp, the back end popped up quick and I bailed. Landed on the head and it looks to be a couple months till I ride again.

Sorry Bro. Hate to hear the news. Keep a good attitude and don't shy away from those pain pills. As my doc once said, "not a good time to be macho." Good luck on a speedy recovery. Peace

Hey Ben, can you come out and just sit or lay around camp and still have fun?

Hell no Michelle! That would be worse than bamboo shoots under the nails! There's no way I could sit at camp while everyone else rides. You know I'd be on the first bike someone offered me and then I'd be gettin myself into even more time away from Glamis! Whoa man, I'm getting all worked up just thinking about it! Gotta pop a vicodin. I'm gone!

Thanks Chef, got a good attitude now. Learning that it won't be 6 months till I can get out of bed helped out there.

I don't wanna use alot of pain pills cause I've heard they can be pretty addictive but a couple a day shouldn't hurt. Take it easy.

You'll eventually get burnt out on the lazy brain mood. Pain pills work, then its time to take it like a man. Update us on the re-runs of LUCY next time you get to Glamis. Look forward to meeting ya sometime. Peace

Yo bro, hows the back this weekend? I was thinking about you during a couple motos today. Oak Hill MX, awesome track. Decatur, Tx. For all you MX folks, it's a must ride track. I narrowed down the race from 5 laps to the first turn. Won 1of4, to the 1st turn that is. Peace

Sounds like you were having some fun this weekend Chef! You ride a YZ don't you? What would be your most important tuning tip to get ready for a race? A little advice for a beginner if you don't mind.

A clean bike is a must. Lubricate the chain before every ride. Clean the air filter regularly, and don't forget a full tank of gas. Also, change the spark plug once in a while. Thats an excellent tune-up. Peg the bike down the straight aways to keep it from loading up. Mix your gas 40to1. We're not fast enough to burn all the oil. And yes, I ride a '01 yz250 factory built by MotoworldRacing.com. Dustin Nelsons race bike. I buy one from him every year. It flat out gets it. Ever since I bought the bike, it's been on vacation. I call it great life insurance on the bike. Hope all is well bro. Peace
