Ok, we've been slacking over at YumaDuners.com this year and haven't hosted nearly enough Duner Dinners or BBQ's. Just bad timing this year for all of us - no other excuse really. But it's time to step it up.
March 5th.
It's a saturday. It's my 30th birthday. It's also the traditional date of the south dunes cleanup that was moved to MLK day this year.
So here's the deal. I'm going to sponsor a mini-cleanup in conjunction with a YumaDuners BBQ and my birthday celebration. Yep, that means FREE FOOD!
I'll bring trash bags, burgers and hot dogs. Anyone who picks up at least one bag of trash will get free food until we run out.
Since this is also a YumaDuners BBQ anyone who wants to is of course welcome to bring more food to share with everyone but it's not required this time.
I'm still debating where to hold it. Since it's my birthday I'm tempted to say Gordons as I haven't been north of I-8 since T-day. But it's easier to find us at Buttercup so we may go there instead. Anyone who wants to come let me know if you have a preference.
I'll be out the whole weekend but Saturday is the BBQ/Cleanup day.
Hope some GD people can make it out!

Holy crap I am older than you!

We would love to go but we will be getting ready for St. Thomas that weekend because we leave on the 11th.

Sorry we'll miss you guys Cortni. And sorry that I'm older than you

But I think I'd take St. Thomas over the dunes if I could afford it
Hmmm...that would be a tough decision though!

Ok, I've decided it will be Buttercup for sure. That way even people in street vehicles can make it out to do some cleaning and socalizing and we'll be easier to find (as no one seems to be able to find us when we camp at Gordons!)
We'll get out friday night and I at least will be there all weekend. We should have Amy's green Dodge Quad cab with my primer grey rail and blue trailer plus I'm going to drive my red manx out to show off the killer new seats I just got.
Matt will probably have his Fling (70's era Dodge ClassC - says FLING across the front and rear in big green letters) and Glenn said he'd be there so his yellow jeep will probably be another good camp marker.
If possible I'll have someone come on and post the exact location once we get setup.

Well I'm heading out friday an hour or two before sunset to claim us a spot and setup camp. Will be there Friday and Saturday nights but Saturday night will be the free BBQ for anyone who picks up some trash.
Hope some GD people can stop by and say hi and maybe pickup a bag of trash in exchange for free food!

Happy Birthday Jason. I wish we could make it out and help with the cleanup, but we're still recovering from the golf tourney weekend. Hope you ge a good turnout and fill the dumpsters up.
