Well, Slappy gotta say dat that was downright nutsmcflappizoid, and you all know what Slappy talkin bout. Slap has taken everybody's opinions and thoughts on da Environmental Forum, and da majority of the family at this point don't be wantin it. So, Slappy has removed it for da time bein. Slappy appreciate all da e-mails and posts he has gotten, and boy was there a lot.
Maybe someday in da future it may work, but it be lookin like right now be a bad time for it, and da hate and anger be runnin rampant
WOOOOOO NELLY, Slappy sure has learned quite a bit about the family from this experiment, and Slappy gotta say, it sure has changed his perspective. Slappy love everysingle one of ya, and again thank you sooo much for all your opinions and thoughts. Slap would never want to drive a wedge between da family, and at this point, Slap has done just that.

I cannot believe that Slappy was forced to have to take down one of the new forms. This makes me very sad, what has this board turned into? Why can't we have an open mind to be able to post about environ issues?
We were all told that things were going to change in here. Yes I know some will and some won't like the changes, but please don't put Slappy in a situation to have to remove things that he believed in. He has done nothing but good for us. So why not allow him to let this board grow.

More over it was and opportunity to have better communications between the two groups, to let them know are side of the story not just what propaganda they are fed. I don't think it was any issue of not being the right time but the right person. Find someone who will actually ANSWER the valid questions that are asked and we will be more than happy to participate in a forum with that person.
That person though is NOT BS! It has proven that time and again in more than one forum.
There is a person that posts under the name "spider" at the DUSA board who does a much better job of holding up his end of a discussion between off-roaders and greenies.He is more than willing to answer questions that are posed to him. I have thanked him on numerous occasions for doing so and not just ignoring the questions or making stupid comments like BS does. He is able to answer clearly and with well thought out responses. Maybe he would be willing to give the forum a shot?

ITS NOT THE FORUM SLAPPY. It was Blusky. In all the time I posted at the desert usa board Blu did nothing but call us names, berate offroaders and dodge questions. I dont think any good debate between the two sides EVER would have taken place. Get a enviro with an open mind that doesnt have a bad track record and I think it will work. My 2 cents
I think it would be a good idea to have that type of forum moderated by someone with different views but the last moderator did not seem to have much knowlage on the subject, just allot of talk and anyone can do that. I have a friend who is a BLM ranger, he is not anti off road but he is pro enviro maybe he would like to give it a try...

See Michelle? Don't be disappointed in us I think we have a fair amount of openness here, it was BS who didn't and was unwilling/unable to actually debate points regarding the environment. There's an old saying out there, keep your freinds close and your enimies closer. I think we missed out on a great opportunity this time to bring a greenie out of their little world and broaden his/her ideas. To see that we aren't just a bunch of redneck hillbillies who go around the desert looking for plants and animals to run over with our buggies quads and other assorted off road vehicles.
