I just wanted to throw out a huge thanks to AZRENEGADE for offering up his garage and a sweet set of darn near every tool one could need to fix what was thought to be a toasted clutch. I really enjoyed meeting you and the family, I cant really say how appreciative I am.

As for the clutch, it wasnt really the clutch afteral, however I already had the barnette so that will be installed tomorrow. Im not going to admit in public what the problem was, but I will say I need to heed my own advice, always start with the easiest problems and work your way back to the harder. Again thanks for all the help and my warrior should be back up and running in time for our next trip.

Lol I know that feeling. What I am guessing the cable came loose.

ok just be gentle. The nut came off the counter shaft sprocket and the sprocket worked itself off the groves. So it just sat there as the shaft spun. DOH!!!!! Didnt even think to check that. Ohh well, live and let learn

It's o.k., you have to learn somewhere icon_biggrin.gif

You're welcome! I had a lot of fun helping you with your problem. But not nearly as much fun as I am going to have when I tell the story around the fire when we meet in Glamis. Of course, if you keep "repairing" your Warrior the way you do, you might never ride again! laughing.gif See ya tonight for the final fix. thumb.gif

my nuts in my wifes purse was a joke, my countershaft nut is resting peacefully somewhere near the sanddrags at GW. Im now calling local dealers to see if someone has it in stock

The Webber's are great people aren't they thumb.gif

Don't forget the piece of metal that goes behind the nut that you fold over to keep it from spinning off thumb.gif

once you get your nuts intact you'll be set

Well I installed the barnett clutch and wow does that thing hook up. I have had a chance to run it full out yet but was about to work through the gears and it feels pretty darn tight. Thanks again Mr Weber, and I really look forward to our first trip out, my wife was actually excited about a trip.
