Orion be know as da 'Master of the Winter Skies.' There be all kindsa stories revolvin around Orion. So in a nutshell: Orion can be visible in da night skies durin the dune season, late Fall through early Spring...Story goes dat Apollo sent da Scorpion after Orion cuz Orion had da hots for Artemis, Apollo's sister. Then, as Orion was escapin da Scorpion, Apollo challenged Artemis to shoot her bow at the villain dat was escaping, but she didn't know it was Orion. "BLAP", she nailed Orion and killed him. Dat really bummed her out, so she put Orion's image up in the heavens. And Zues didn't like dat, so he put Scorpio up in da heavens to chase Orion, but Orion be disappearin just before Scorpio rises from da east.
It be a way cool story. Orion just love to dune with us, and you can see him in the night skies during the season. But come late Spring, he will disappear till late Fall.
