A long time ago I was up in the high desert riding with some friends when night came. We were sitting around the fire and having a few beers. when I noticed a kangaroo rat running around camp looking for some food. I had some left over bread in my truck and went to get it. I got back to my chair next to the fire and drop some bread on the ground between my legs. The little rat was pretty brave and came up to me to get the food. He picket it up eat it and ran off back to it's den. The little guy came back shortly after that to get some more and ran right up to me and waited for me to give him some bread. I toast him some more and watch him eat it right there. After a couple of trips the little rat got braver and was taking it right out of my hand. when the bread was gone he ran off into the night and I didn't see him anymore. I thought the hole experience was pretty cool. The next day we loaded up and left for home....
