Slappy,

Every time I attempt to load my URL for my personal Avatar, it doesn't load. Why is this?

Hey Sandz, glad to see your back posting again. Please post the URL that your trying to link to. It's possible the site won't allow you to link to it or you might have missed a step. Those are to two most common problems with posting an avatar. I won't be around tomorrow (Thurs.) to reply to the post but VOR and others will. They'll get you set up in no time.

The problem I had with ours was the size, Vor Fixed it for us thou and now they work. You cannot have the size too big.

I've edited it so that it's down to 96x96 pixels. I don't think it's the size issue. Could someone just type the directions down for me? Please?? Thank you.

Well, Sandz

Find the URL of the photo. (right click on the photo within your browswer and select properties

Copy that url to the clipboard

open your profile

select view/edit profile

select select a different avatar image

Paste the URL into the use custom URL box

select the use this avatar button (this closes the avatar selection screen)

select the update profile button at the bottom of the edit profile screen[list]And Voila!

Where are you trying to post it from? because a lot of sites wont show up, I had the same problem. I went here and set up an account (it's all free) http://www.yoursighost.com and it works A ok! [Big Grin]

If you still can't get your avatars to work simply send me a PM or an E-mail with the link or the actual picture and I'll hook it up for you. I'll host the picture so you don't have to worry about hosts that won't let you link to photos and I'll resize it if it needs it and then I'll plug it into your profile and hook you all up!

Then, maybe we can figure out what's going wrong!
