Actually if you add the Shortstar V6 and a Mendeola E it's only $26,850 including a Ron Davis cooling system. Not everyone wants a full body and HID lights.
The goal is to get a good car that has all the performance features and you can always go back and add bling later.

That's basically the options that we offer with that. I call it cookie cutter pricing. Great for a budget car.
SHOCKER
What if we supplied our own 1915cc VW motor, trans, pedals, seats & belts, and all the motor accessories?

pics?
Xtreme Motorsports
We can do that. That chassis looks almost identical to the one in the "just finished" topic just with A arms similar to a Sand Demon from Tatum.

Dealerships.... Currently in Nevada, Arizona and Central California. We're putting together more. Just wait until this time next year. It'll be cool.

How much would it take off the basic price if we put in our own motor and trans?

and it has 18" of travel for the $19,000 turnkey price?

Good Deal. Best of luck. It's nice to see some affordable cars out there.

1915 VW engine Deduct $2700
002 Bus trans deduct $1060
Total: -$3,760 total deduction.

it's 18" of travel and $18,648.02 actually. icon_wink.gif

with this style front a arm
Burn
WOW!!!! I am impressed, I new this car at this price was possible, I just never thought a big builder would step up, I am usually the first person to bitch about prices(because I am broke laughing.gif ) But this car should do well, And I think it will really help our sport to have affordable options like this.
Too many people complain about the cost associated with the dunes, They are usually stuck buying quads for a family of four becuase a quality rail has become too expensive, hopefully this will start a new trend in the industry.
Good job Xtreme!
SANDSTRUCK
That A-arm looks beefy, but why the change in design?
Xtreme Motorsports
No Change, just 2 options. One less expensive than the other.

Nice car! Nice job, Alan thumb.gif JT

It is available in a 2 seat version. Wheelbase is approx. 108"
Yes, they will fit into a toy hauler. I have a Carson Funrunner and they fit in their just fine.
bgchlln
Alan, please explane the 2 front end options that are available. I'm confused, do they both have the same travel? do they both measure the same width?
Xtreme Motorsports
Sorry. Here's one front end. True A Arm style with 20" of front travel. This car starts at a base price of $21,500 and measures approx. 84" wide
Xtreme Motorsports
The other car that starts at $18,650 look almost identical to this chassis but uses these arms. It has 18" of travel. This style of arms measures 79" wide
little blue buggy
could you add power steering, if so how much
Xtreme Motorsports
Yes, the charlyn assist runs $1,500. That includes the motor pump, pulley, bracket, mounting bracket, high pressure hoses, fittings and installation. We don't use steel braided line on power steering setups we use the heavy Duty hydraylic line with crimped fittings. It's virtually bullet proof in this application.

BeachHead

Alan. Thanks for posting this, hope it didn't cause any problems, but I know there are people who would buy that car with an E box and Shortstar for under $29K and I wanted everyone to get the facts straight, myself included.

Not at the moment. WE just delivered some to Arizona last night. I'll have at least three more chassis done next week. I've been trying to put a shop car together for a while now, they just keep getting sold. If things keep going smoothly i should have at least one for us within the next 60 work days, hopefully two. That we we can send one to Glamis for you Southerners and Send on to Pismo for us Northerners. icon_biggrin.gif

Look at the cost of buying quads for the family now..4 quads and your are EASILY over $16,000 ( and that is if you buy the kids used LT80's) then add all the gear, helmets flags boots maintenance of 4 the list goes on....
HoosierDaddy
Hey Allan...

Man I wish I saw your car earlier. i bought a Toyz 4 big boyz this season and I am pretty happy. I would of LOVED to have more travel but you were just too far away from me and I wanted to make sure that the family liked the transition from quads to a rail...THEY LOVE THE RAIL. I want to go bigger and add power.

You should really talk to Spookydust. He has a great manufacturing facilty and showroom in the heart of the Inland Empire-Ontario. Notworthy.gif It would be great to see a couple of your cars and options locally down here in So Cal. Just a thought headbang.gif headbang.gif

He is relatively close to Suspensions Unlimited and this will tie in VERY well with the folks that are buying down here and dont want to wait 18 Month to get a decent car
Xtreme Motorsports
We've been trying to find some but none of the Southern California people have stepped up yet. Most know they can turn them, just no commitments. If you guys here of someone that may be interested have them contact me. I've talked with Spookydust a little about it but we still need to discuss this a little more. Too, we're willing to step up production and man the shop for high volume. We're not just going to let people wait 18 months for a car because we're too cheap to hire people and get the job done quickly.

I have some customer's that will be in Glamis this weekend and over Easter.

Is there a price diference or the 2 seater? and How much are the 2 seater seats and belts. Bwe also have new belts and suspension seats we could put into the 2 seater.
Xtreme Motorsports
No price diference between 2 seat or 4 seat. But if you want to provide your seats and belts, i'll deduct that cost too.
SHOCKER
I told my dad i would give up our hawaii trip to get a LT buggy. He said fine then they will just go. LOL

Yeah if you can just tell me how much 2 seats are and 2 seat belts.

what is the length of the 4 seater and 2 seater?
