If any of you know Steve O he is one crazy guy, especially holding on to a ski rope and sitting on a saucer flying around the dunes behind Joe.

Hey Glam mom do you know the details on filming in glamis? Is this for major production filming with crews or anyone with a video camera in glamis needs a permit to film there? I'm assuming it's the first but want to make sure.

So because they do their "stunts" out on the african planes this now means that hundres of flatbilled drunk driving party goers are going to crash south african villages to be like steve-O and chris P? right.
I watch the show occassionally, (it's funny when someone else gets bit by a baby crocodile). I have never once seen an advertisement for alcohol on their show...............i think this is our bigger problem in the dunes than the filming of someone sandboarding.

1.The flatbilled, drunk driving party goers are already @ Glamis.
2. Africa is alot harder to get to then Glamis, but if it wasnt, Id bet they would.
3. Nascar does'nt advertise alcohol eighther but go in the stands. They are full of drunk fools.
The point is this. Knowing Steve O it will be more than just a quaint little pull behind a sandrail. Thats not what he is about. He is about shocking you with his stunts. Maybey he will eat a stink bug, or stomp on a plant or put a bottle rockete in his @ss. Ill be shocked if he doesnt do something most normal dune go'ers find outrageuos. Again I guess we will have to wait and see.

Geez you guys need to settle down. Just because a guy went to glamis and was being towed by a buggy doesnt mean the dunes are going to close. Its not like he started the whole drunken idot glamis crap.
I saw the episode of jackarse when they went to mexico and they went knee boarding while being towed by a 250ex. It was funny. They werent harming anything. Besides its not like they support drinking and getting hurt.
I have one question. If you had the chance to be pulled behind a buggy or quad on a trash can lid or sandboard, would you do it? you dont have to go fast or get roosted. Just a simple question.

My friends and I made sand boards on trip, but they didnt work worht a damn going down a hill. So we decided to tow each other around camp behind quads (wearing helmets of course

). It was harder than s*** to stay up at low speeds, and especially with the jerking of shifting the quad, worked alot better witht the polaris automatic. It was fun, they boards sucked and got destroyed, but i would do it again.

Am I the only one that's gonna say yes? Sooooo yep I would do it.
A few years ago it rained like hell at Pismo and this little area back in the dunes got flooded, got pulled on a disk and skimmed across the water. Good fun all day long. Sometimes I pull my kids around camp on this three person tobagon(sp?), not going fast at all, just toting them around camp...helmets on of course.

When I was younger I felt the need to build a child protective device for people who felt just as you do. It was called KID IN A BOX.!!!! It was just a plexie glass box with two tiny holes you inserted the kid then filled it with the little peanuts that come in your ups packages killing two birds with one stone then seal it up (come on every one wonders what to do with them things?) Any way's some child welfare worker found out about my invention and needless to say they shut me down. So i never made it past the demo model

Don't want to piss anyone off and god rest thier souls but i remember that most of the fatalities last year at the river were caused by people 25 and older.
what about the dude that launched his boat 80 feet on shore? that wasn't some flatbilled punk, that was a grown man (might have kids?) that impressionably had to much to drink.
I'm not saying that none of the people that go out there now didn't see it on MTV.
