That would have been killer I would have loved to get that on video. But I will never forget it, thats for sure.

While we were getting ready to take photos snewbank came by in his new Baja...but didn't stop so I still haven't got to meet him:

At one point I decided to um...uh....get high centered on purpose so I could take a photo of it to explain what "high centered" means....yeah...that's what I did! Errr...Uh...yeah....here's Matt surveying my situation:

Broke the photo limit on that last post...so here's part II of our weekend, this is actually reverse chronological order...for absolutely no good reason!

Last night Matt took his parents for their first dune rides. Him mom loved it, she kept telling him to go faster and faster...then she asked if there was anything his car couldn't go up...so he tried his best to find something he couldn't get up - but didn't succeed!




They even stayed to hang out around the fire for a couple of hours after their rides. Next time they're even thinking about camping!

This guy was doing some nice wheelies...well...kind of. I don't think his motor appreciated them when it hit the ground

Thought I got Murph....but now that I look at it the paint dosn't look right. So I guess it wasn't him after all. Bummer, I took a lot of shots of this guy thinking it was him!

This guy was just cruising so it was easy to get a nice sharp photo of him. The guys showing off are a bit harder to catch!



Saw a lot of DB.com cars out this weekend. Even saw the 57 but he was parking it just as I pulled up. Would have loved getting some action shots of that thing

Nope, see my last post. I took a closer look and noticed the car is wrong and the paint is different. But if that guy is on here I've got lots of pics of his car

As for your garage....I still think someone has spy cams setup in a a lot of GD.com peoples garages. I know there must be one in my garage since all my good ideas seem to get posted a day before I unveil them

Most of my pics are hosted on the ASA server which had a major crash this weekend - and due to circumstances beyond our control (issues with the hosting company) I won't be able to retrieve them for a couple of days

But I moved the photos of the drags to a different host and changed the links in my post to point there instead so those should be working at least.

Oh yeah, there they are. I didn't see them yesterday. Thanks. Thanks Racer63, that jump was way wicked, had a double lip on it that kept kicking the back end up. Only good jump was on the far east side but that was usually crowded.

Anytime. There were alot of cars kicking up like that. The only I saw that was not was the sand limo. He soaked it up very well.

Yeah I noticed that Joe's car was about the only one that hit it good. I asked a guy before I went down how it was and he motioned with his hands that it was kicking the ass end up. I think that I had a little to rebound.

My Father-in-laws cousin owns it now. It was totally coincidental but we ended up camping a couple hundred yards from him last weekend. He ran us over to Gordons in it and, well, lets just say that I have a new favorite cousin.

It is indeed a small world. We ran into my father-in-laws cousin last weekend and as we were heading out for Gordons he said he needed to say good-bye to some people, who turned out to be MY cousin.....7 degrees of Kevin Bacon anyone??




They said it hurt some, but we made them do it about 6 times each
so I could get pics....They are young, they'll heal.
