I've got so many engines to think about when it comes to changing oil..
so for the quads, I've added an hour meter wired to the key switch.

Should I put one on the lawnmower? 25toilet_claw.gif

Less than $12 in parts. thumb.gif

Two questions.....

Where did you buy the hour meter?
How did you wire it?

Cheers,

I wouldn't wire it to the key switch though unless your religous about turning on and off the key.
There has got to be a place where you can wire it to the motor while its running. that would be the best bet..

Just an FYI and this is a great idea. I am thinking about one for the buggy..

I added an inductive hour meter to all of mine... wire wraps around the plug wire, and gets power from the spark (inductive). Don't have to worry about switching on or off.... perhaps a little more expensive, but I think it's worth it.
