Anyone else see this guy at Test Saturday night? Looked like the group surrounding his car ran him off. Sweet car, but damn he was going to kill someone the way he was driving.

What else is new. He's always like that. I stay far far away from him.

Which guy are you talking about? There are always a few that are driving stupid.

No doubt, this guy almost hit 4 quads. The last one was very close as he was shooting across the hill trying to do wheelies. I also watched him shoot through a hole between two groups barely big enough for his buggy at high speed. I am glad no one was hit and he was chased off.

This car actually has "Totally Obnoxious" on the side of his car. As RacerX said the worst I saw was him going between a group of quads that were just sitting watching, there was barely enough room for him to fit and couldn't see what was below the lip in front of him. If one of those guys happened to step off their bike, they would have been done. Looked as though a few people walked over to smack him in the ding ding, but nothing happened.

On presidents weekend I was cruising down the canal road towards test. My group and I got seperated so I went down to the valley to find my group that was somewhere down there. A dude that was with a group of long travels jumped out in front of my quad. I tried to go around but he wouldn't let me by. He was screaming some jibberish and then he tried pulling me off my bike. I am not a small dude. I am 6'2, and somewhere between 240 and 250lbs, depending on how much beer I have in me. Anyways, the guy just started hitting me in my helmet, and screaming complete jibberish again. I have a chatterbox, so my 3 brother3(same size as me give or take 20 lbs) came looking for me. By the time they got there, I was pounding on the dude with my helmet off and it got really ugly. I got out of controll, and ended up beating the dude who started everything with my helmet because he was so drunk that was the only thing that would stop him. 3 of his friends of course tried breaking it up, and they ended up getting beat down by my brothers after they threw a duraflame log at me. I do not like violence, but I seriously feared for my safety. They were just looking for trouble and unfortunately they got it.
Long story short, they thought I was some guy who roosted them earlier. Then one guy said, "It was a white yfz bro, his is blue!" The people next to them said they had been sitting there since dark just getting wasted. It was around 10pm when this happened. He said they had almost hit his daughter numerous times, and that the only reason they stopped is because they sat there reving the buggy to the max until the motor let go. It just goes to show how one group of a-holes can ruin everyones fun. This happened on saturday night, and I didn't even go to the hill or ride much after dark for the rest of the weekend. I didn't want to deal with the trouble.

I ahve seen that buggy out at patton before. He was busting wheelies out there in traffic and was crazy. I'm all for wheelies, but not when a group of 8 quads are racing up the hill to the right and left of you. I guess the buggy is named perfectly.

I wish it wouldn't of happened. I felt like a lame highschool kid afterwards, and like one of the guys who I try to steer clear of out there. I guess it's just unavoidable sometimes. Thats alright though. Looking forward to some fun come easter weekend.

he looked very lucky that he didn't get his arse kicked that night. There was a large group of guys surrounding him and letting him know what a moron he was being. I was too far away to hear what all was said...

I think Dave is cool..
He still has alot to learn in the driving department and if no one tells him the ups and downs - hes just doing what every noob out there does..
I guess thumping on someone for bad driving is the norm now?? Seems a bit lame when a bit of education is really all it takes.

Hopefully, he did learn something from that experience. As close as he came to those quads I do not blame them a bit for being pissed.

I'm a noob as well but would never consider driving that way. Unless he's a noob to driving in general, common sense has to kick in. Killing someone is even more lame than getting talked to about poor decisions while driving.

I think you missed the part in desertbound's post that said they tried to pull him off the bike, and would not let him go past because they "thought" he was "the guy" who roosted them earlier....Sounds like they got what they were looking for.

I believe that car is a predator? And "Totally obnoxious" lights up on the side. He camped near us for new years, and apparently has never heard a v8 before because he revved it about a million times. That guy is the ultimate camp racer! Not impressed!

Allthough he maybe a crazy driver, he put on a pretty good show at the drags. I know I watched it haul ass for a while. I also like his car the way it lights up as well on the side, pretty trick. That car was fully loaded everytime down so I guess the people inside trust him....???

There was no problem with the car. The car was a great car and it was fast. To tell you the truth by what I have heard about the safety of the predators the safest place Saturday night might have been inside the car. That way you didn't get ran over.

I am a good friend of Dave's w/the Totally car. I printed out this thread and showed it too him yesterday because he doesn't ever get to this site.
Dave is a great guy once you get to meet him and very entertaining to get to know over a beer and a good fire.
After discussing this thread with him, he wanted me to share a few thoughts with all of you. As this is his first season in a big V8 car, he has admitted to probably running the hill and drags a little closer to others than he should of as he was "caught up in the moment" and let the throttle get the best of him. (We probably all can relate to this at times.)
He will be much more aware of the quads and everyone on the hill and only pull wheelies when there is no one running the hill. He doesn't want to see anyone hurt and just wants to have a good time with everyone. Say hi to him when you see him and all will be better!!!
