I was no closer to finding "Slappy" and I was starting to think I never would. As I was heading back to the door of the restaurant I noticed everyone gathered outside looking bummed. "What's up?" I asked, "Why is everyone so down?" "Wide_Open_R got a call about ten minutes ago. The Bowl caught on fire and burned down. By the time the Fire Dept. got there it was pretty much destroyed." VOR said. I couldn't believe it. If it had been a few hour's later the concert would have been going and hundred's of people could have been hurt. We all stood around for a while and talked but no one felt like doing much after that. I took Kenny G home and dropped him off. I had to head out to The Bowl to see what kind of story I could do for the paper. I was there most of the night and after talking to WOR I was suprised to hear what she said. It appeared to the investigator that it was arson. "Who would do a thing like that?" I asked WOR. "I don't know, but im going to do everything I can to find out!" she said. I spent about three weeks working on that story but we never did find out who started that fire. The Bowl is now in the middle of being rebuilt and everyone's life is back on track. Tomarrow is the first night of the Sand Sport Super Show and everyone is getting very excited. I know I can't wait to see everyone and meet some new face's. I here The Mayor will be there. I have been out of the "Slappy" searching mode for a while but i'm now back on the story. Just as I was about to go to sleep the phone rang. It was...
