I would run a Hinson clutch and basket if money is no option (Alba Action Sports)..........both toomey and barnett work very well too!

What kinda engine oil you using?

Stock is what I would use thumb.gif

i run yamaha plates and barnett fibers. heavier springs also. but you dont really need springs unless your banshee is ported and all that.

I run stock clutches......and 3 stock springs and 3 barnett springs..........But like i said if money is no option a lighter basket and heavier clutches is fine..........but yamaha wouldnt have put all this tech and money if it was going to fail.........stick with stock!

Buddy of mine has a Trinity motor and they told him the stock clutch is the best with some stiffer than stock springs.

Get 7 of this part # 4H7-16321-02 Factory Yamaha fibers (not for the Banshee) out of some street bike that I can not remember, I have been having great results out of them, as have many others.

Take a look here too http://www.glamisdunes.com/invision/index....showtopic=40496

it used to have 1/2stock springs and 1/2 barnet springs and its has a stock basket but i think that the plates were yamaha and after we rebuilt the bike and had put this clutch in to it for some reson the clutch was not opperating correctly and it was not engaging all the way and we think thats what started it and in the dunes i raced it and thats what probly finised it off is what we think but my dad is going to put a brnd new tommey in it becase i like said we havent had any problems with the tommeys so far.
Thanks for the opions

Is it a RZ350 or RZ500?

the RZ350 has basicly the same motor as the banshee except the cylinder have power-valves.

but the 500 has v-4 2-stroke.

YZ490 metals and fibers. 3 stock springs, 3 Barnett springs. Best I have ever tried.

The Barnett clutch is a lightswitch, either on or off. And it drags.

The stock clutch just does not have the grab to not slip.

I just bought these fibers at Alba last weekend, can't wait to install them and see the results they produce. I have been experiencing that drag which you are talking about ever since I installed my aftermarket fibers, and I know it is adjusted correctly. It is so annoying, and can't be good for the bike, hopefully the new fibers eliminate this issue.
