My dad always brings up a story that when he was stationed in the Pacific during WW2, he was on an island that used Kent Cigarettes for money.

The travel channel recently visited that island, and Kent cigarettes were still the main money, no kidding.

So I drifted off to sleep and imagined what dune currency would be........zzzzz
Perhaps monopoly money with a stick figure picture of slappy,,
Maybe sparkplugs,,,Meisterbrau beer,,
What do you think?

Beer has always been the currency of the dunes. If someone pulls you out from being stuck you give them a couple of beers. When my wife blow a CV joint in the dunes and we were towed back to camp. I gave the guy a 6pk of coronas. Yeah BEER has always been the currency of Glamis...

Sat. We set out and made real dune currency! we put coins on the tracks.
Then had a search party for them later.. The kids loved it. Those trains are a great printing press!
