Well I promised that I would go say hi to some peeps up in 13.5 over Easter weekend and just wondered if anyone else wanted to come along. I will be in a buggy this time, quads are welcome, but you might want to contact someone in 13.5 for a refill of gas if needed.

Time: Leave Gordons no later than 8:45a.m. Sat 3/26

Meeting Place: Corner of Main Sand highway and the sand highway to patton.

Route: Sand Highway to Gecko/Roadrunner, through dunes to Olds, then through dunes to 13.5. I havent gone that way before, but I have the GPS for 13.5 so we will get there sooner or later, and someone else is welcome to lead.


Let me know if you plan to go, but I said I would be there about 9:30, I dont want to cut into their ride times.

I would go but My banshee WILL NOT make it even close to 13.5, If somebody had seats for me and my girl I would go.

I'll be waiting for you all at 13.5 @ 9:30 am. I'll have gas for anyone who rode a quad, if you've got a 2 stroke bring the oil to mix with. We'll go for a ride after you freshen up/rest a bit.

I can also bring gas cans in my rail to refill anybody who needs to top off before the ride back to Gordon's.

SDR - If I end up out there I can take out some gas for ya, but that would involve a side swerve out to the canal...closer gas-up than 13.5 anyway. I've shot from my campsite to Gordon's several times on my 'shee. What you need is an IMS 5.6 gallon, I never run out of gas now.

I am getting my new 5 seater Predator next week, we will be camped along 3rd base line 2-3 miles in, american flag with long black and white checkered windsock, purple strobe at night, I will be out there from Wed or Thurs thru Sunday, hopefully we can hook up.

over new years I did that ride on my raptor, sand highway, to china wall to washes then north, wasnt that bad, took about 45 mins. it was the sand highway with all the whoops that sucked, but then I dropped down on the flats and opened her up, got up to road runner in no time.

2-3 miles north guy??? That's way further than you before.

I will be there and I will be taking someone up on the offer for a refill as the warrior doesnt take too much gas but I would prefer to play it safe. Besides Ive been hearing about 13.5 for over a year now and want to see what its all about

cool deal, when I took the raptor last time, I probably used a little more than a tank, Wes (SandTrap) was gracious enough to fill me up when I went up there over new years, but the route this time will be a little more direct.

He is still mad at the way I took him last time we went up, I had never been that way before, so I was kind of flying by the seat of my pants, I was on a quad and he was in his car, so some of the lines I took he didnt care for.

yup, just got off the phone with the painters, apparently there were issues, and it took longer, so now I am looking at mid April, or something around there. both Justin and I are so fricken frustrated right now, I think I should step away from the computer.
