Showy milkweed

"lets get sappy, think like slappy!"???

Showy milkweed is a member of the Milkweed Family (Asclepidaceae). The name "milkweed" refers to the milky, white sap that is present in most members of this family, and the habit of growing in poor or "weedy" soil. Many milkweeds grow in the pantropical areas, especially South America, with only 9 genera growing in the temperate regions of the northern and southern hemispheres.

Slappy
Ya know BamBam, Slap thinks you gots yoself a perty good answer...But ya know what, with all da crazy stuff da White Coats have been pullin on us, Slap is all twisted, and can't remember why it would be da Beavertail Cactus...Slap needs help BamBam, can you tell Slap why it is the Beavertail Cactus?
BamBam
Of course Slappy.

You know Slappy loves Mr. Red Tail
but busy isn't the title of he
milkvetch and primore, is the sweet color I bear
blooming four month a year that you can see..

part 2:

Of course there wide,
and flat from the siad
a five-imagery change
only one thumbnail remains

Ok, "Busy isn't the name of he" maybe referring the Mr. Red Tail's name. The beaver is the "busy beaver". "Milkvetch and Primrose is the color I bear" Well, the Primrose has a greyish green plant part and that is the color of the Pads of the Cactus. And the Milkvetch flower color is sort of a pinkish purple, that's the color of the flower on the Beavertail Cactus that only blooms from March to June.....4 months. Also, what gave it away, the "five-imagery change, only one thumbnail remains" You're referring to the pic of the day on the main GD.COM page and I saw the picture of the Beavertail Cactus there and I read on it, well, it matches everything in the riddle. And, "Wide, and flat from the side", well, the Beavertail cactus' pads are wide and flat.

Slappy
Hot damn there BamBam you be right, GREAT JOB. And ya added even a little more...Slap love your anilization of da greyish green part of the cactus to the primrose. And yo description of da Milkvetch flower and the beavertail flower be perty close to what da Slapster was thinkin... Slap was referrin to the Milkvetch's purple flower and the primrose's white flower and mixing them together, in which you would create the color lavender, the color of the Beavertail Cactus flower [Big Grin] .

Everything else be spot on BamBam...You was nailin da clues as they was thrown at ya...GET YOSELF SOME [Big Grin]

This was a tough one, you can no doubt talk some serious mcdoodoo [Wink] ...

Slap snapped this shot of da Beavertail Cactus just a short time ago on Mother Glamis in one of her washes...Please keep an eye out for Mr. Beavertail Cactus. He is prikly, but he is still very fragile...
