This is the start of an illustrious sand animal, some people say it all starts with just a little hit of sand crack. First time: roll up in my truck with a quad strapped on it bag of Oreos, loaf of bread, P&J and whole sh&^% load of alcohol. Now after several visits to the desert this is the overall animal that has been created!
From One quad to four quads to three quads

As you can see here that this is beyond repulsive and is severely crashing out of control,
But do you think its going to stop there (probably not) since there is no sand addiction crisis center. Looks like I’m hooked for life! And the Bank owns part of my stuff.

Are teh Hella's HID's or regular?

they are hella 4000 halogen lights to upgrade to HIDs it would cost $325 ea light

Overall, the car looks good.

I'd recommend replacing the ribbed radiator hoses with either smooth hoses connected to pipe, or braided stainless hoses.

Just curious are those the water lines that you are going to run ???

You have the opposite colors of me. My chassis is black, A arms/trailing are in deep red over super chrome.

I just saw the radiator lines with a the new photo update, not really pleased for astetics, may replace with braided lines (very good possibility)

Yes it still acts as a cooler rack or for whatever storage plus provides shade
Only bolted on can easily be removed if need be

mgobyman that is going to be a sweet ride! As said before hose upgrade in order. How fast did the addiction spiral out of control to this? You joined this site 10 mths ago but was it 1-2 years or more? I've been going for 20+ & will building something along the lines of yours. Keep us updated!

I would just like to say that one thing that I like about this website is you can get great ideas from fellow builders. I am going to build a roof rack like his.

Well when it's finished we will be delighted to share photos of the roof or whatever someone needs. You want measurements no problem! closeups no problem!
Sometimes it can be so frustrating from the year of research(I know some have been researching for years) all the knowledge differences, just take a gander at this board, some say limiting straps others say no need, 934cv's or sacrificial 930cv's, check out the post on bump steer. As for how long I've been doing the dunes, just say newbie. But addiction is to say the least! The cost of these rails cost more then a damn 4x4 2005 Dodge diesel crew cab fully loaded with all the bling you can imagine. And most of all MENDI is totally enjoying sucking up all the $$$ with the 2d issues (why claim the 2d is a transmission for the V8 engine???) and the warranties suck on all this stuff! 30 days or no warranty at all??? I know there is a lot of abuse on these darn things, How about a little creature comfort of support for those $6500 trannies. I realize there has been some excellent customer service out there but how long is that???
