I hear ya Slap, I hear ya.

Tomorrow, Tomorrow....It's only a day away!!

Mere hours! Pics like this make a guy frisky!
Kinda like that time in 5th grade when Mrs. Chuckles called on you to approach the board....
You just sat there shaking your head "NO NO NO"..
Your thinking the entire class will see it!! "NO NO NO".
Teacher smiles and STILL demands you go up to the chalk board..
Sweat poors down your forehead.. Your shaken and you just know the teacher knows also.. You slowly stand up - but stay bent over..
You quickly grab your books and hold them in front of 'THAT' spot..
You quickly walk up to the board and Mrs. Chuckles tells you to put the books down...

Electricity flies through your veins as you set the book down.. Then you notice it.. It went away.. WHEW! You stand PROUD and perform the 2+2 equation on the board!

And the equation equaled the norm. WOW, the dunes are only 36 days away for spring break departure. Light years to some(me) only days to others(calender). See ya soon Mother G. Peace

I do too, and try to recruit 100 people a year to the cause to keep it open.

We're being hit from more directions lately, stacked committies, other govt agencies beyond the BLM chiming in/in favor of closeure,,, time to wake up and get out the word.

If you camp in the little dunes at Dumont or Glamis,, or make it up to the top of the tallest dune in Dumont, eventually you'll be handed an application pack from me with several organizations info in it.

You'd all be shocked how many lovers of the dunes are unaware of efforts to shut it down,, and of families trying to save it.

Its a story that needs to be told,, ya all need to act like Jehovas Witnesses of the dunes and get the word out,,,,

The Sand Bar TIKI hut will be open at the March 15th cleanup at Dumont,, and you can come and place the names of this board with faces, meet Legends and characters of the dunes.

Maybe FNG can arrange a Slappy appearance,, thats a long shot and I'm not counting on it. Probably not,,,, but,,,,, maybe,,,

Mid March is about the last of the Duneseason for Dumont,, so hope you can make it out to see those who are active in the fight to keep GLAMIS open,,, because if Glamis falls,, the others do too,, and we all know that,,,

Had to get another view. The anxiety is true. The separation is killing me. Peace
