Yamiboy

I didn't see anything with your name attached to it....What happened?
Screamin Ian
I would like to, but no buggy, and am playing paintball on Sunday.
Midsubie
I will be there with a group of about 6 other rigs including Racerx63. I went out with Racerx63 today and his wife for a day trip, weather was great, but a little too windy. Ripster took me for a ride in his car and all I can say is......WOW! My firt long travel experience, and that car is amazing. Thanks Ripster!
A-Dare
Thing is bad ass huh? Ian, you should come anyway, I'm not gonna have my car either, it's barely a roller right now. I'm just looking forward to getting outta town for a weekend.
Midsubie
Yes it is...and Ripster is definitely not afraid to drive it either...bad ass car, really cool guy as well.
A-Dare

Going to have to second that statement HV. Wait til Ian gets home tonight, he and Ripster are going to have an "interesting" story to tell.... shock.gif
A-Dare
Ahh c'mon robin give me a little heads up!
Screamin Ian
OK Chris, I will spill the beans, yesterday around 4:45 I get a call from James asking what I was doing, I was just chillin messing around at home, he said how about I ruin you evening, I replyed with "what?", I guess something in his motor in his truck blew, and he was about 1/3rd up the grade on the 8, and needed help, enough said, I was out the door by 5:00, got to him at 6:40 (he was 100 miles from my house) by the time I got there the tow truck had already picked up his truck, we hooked up his trailer to my truck, I then towed to to his house (Bonita) left there about 9:30, then got home about 11:15.

All in all, little over 6 hours driving, about about 240 miles later all is good. and I did a little circle around southern CA. last night. Mesa Grande, Lake Henshaw, down S2 to Octillo, up the 8, to bonita, the 8 to 67, to 78, to 79, to home.
Yamiboy
sorry i didnt reply... after my first post onhere my comp at home basically crashed for some reason.

Sorry to hear about the rig, I hope it wasnt something too bad that gave out on it. I dont know if it was just the end of the season and lots of things were ready to break but Erica and I counted 6 rigs on the side of the road on our way home. Im just glad I have some time to get things in order now for next season.

Yamiboy
this is what happened to me this weekend....bad weekend

along with this happening we get a call from my cousin in Glamis sayin he was on his way to see us and his buggy broke down between Glamis and Gordons. so it was a pretty chitty weekend for us.
Screamin Ian
RIPPY, you bum, I didnt even get home til after 11:00 p.m. Next time you decide to blow up your truck, could you make it a little closer? It was about 280 miles round trip. Hope you get your rig fixed soon and get your butt back out there when I finally get my ride.
A-Dare
Seems like RIPSTER can't get a break these days
Screamin Ian
yeah, the last two trips have been expensive ones for him.

James I hope you have a great trip to ensanada. If your not busy Memorial weekend I think we might have some room for you and your family down in Golfo if you would like to join us.

On another note, the times I rode with james I felt very safe and secure. That doesnt mean that he didnt scare the piss out of me once or ten times but I always felt same(with the exception of when he yelled ohh s***!!!!!) Damn those witches eyes
