after getting ym bomb DS 650 baja x, we went to test ride it, and really, there are no places to really ride it (all hard-pack trails, DEEP ruts
it has about 3 hours on it, about how close to the price we payed can i expect to get if i decide to sell it and get a ute model?
and btw, the nearest dunes are probably 1500+ miles away

Should have got a Kfx 700. Does great on the trails you describe. The ds is a fast bike for wide open riding! Good luck!

Rear driveshaft and high clearence. It is a fun ride. Nothing to mess up on the rear end, brakes are even sealed.

I would say you took a 1,500 hit. Try to trade it in with the shop you bought it from. They might make you a better deal.

I say get a grizzly. Probably the most well rounded quad of all time. Tows anything, rides good in stock form(with mods I can only imagine), and can rip through the desert right with some of the midrange sport quads. Sure fun and fast for a 4x4, needs to be wider by about 3 inches though and some bigger tires and bigger shocks. Still in stock form it's great, I had fun this last weekend, I could get the thing to wheelie though a couple whoops at a time and I was jumping it about 3 feet off the ground at times with no struggle.
