when i talk about ford its mostly toward the older ones like the f 1oo scout short bednow thats a truck i m really either way about the newwer ones...if it wernt for imports im sure there would be alot higher quality trucks from both companys becaues then all of their effort could go towards that instead of havin to worry about beating the jap's prices and all that b.s.

Your showin your inexperience Grape. The imports cost more than the domestics. Ford and Chevy don't need to worry bout the cost factor cause they don't have to pay importing fees. Times were, people paid more for an import cause the quality and fit/finish was higher. Now, American dealers charge just as much as an import and the quality still isn't there.
