i have a 1981 honda xl 185s and a mostly stock bug. now i wanted to know since ive heard that a paddle is needed on a 4-stroke and i am not sure my bike can turn a paddle so should i be able to use an oversized tire on my bike?
now on my bug should i just use a set of 10" rear rims with sand tires or fat low AP tires or possibaly use my 5" rims with 5"street tires.
if any one can help me i am on AIM under GWGIEST and my email is fattyfat11@hotmail.com
any help will be apreciated
ps i am new at riding and am looking to it for a lot of fun

buy paddles for your 185 and dont worry the bike can pull the. Just dont get huge ass paddles.

what size engine is in your bug? the bike will be able to turn but it will be slower since it wont be hooking up as good in the sand as if you had a paddle on. If you don't want to put paddles on your bug, just air the tires down to about 8-10 psi and you should have no problem.
