This post could go just about anywhere I guess...
Where do you guys buy your gas cans from and for how much? All the places I've seen tend to charge around $25-$30, which seems rediculous.

It is but that's about what they go for. Don't go metal, heavy as hell.
You could always go to Peps or Autozone.

Looks like you have to buy a cap with a filler hose, which is another 11.99 so you are close to $30.00 after shipping.

Shipping used to be free. You can buy the stuff at home depot to make the filler hose for less than 5 bucks

you guys gotta have the top of the line stuff, huh? cuz if you go down to wal mart, you can get a gas can with the quick fill thingy(its got a little tab on the part where thwe gas comes out, you push it into the gas tank, pushing the tab on the edge, and gas comes out, and when you take it out it stops pouring) for somewhere between 15 and 20 something, ionno its been so long since we bought ours

Those are the cans the environmentalist are going to save the world with. I've spilt more gas since that POS came out then I ever did with a regular can.
