I think this finally answers my desires for a 500R to answer Suzuki from the days of old. whip.gif

Honda did build the bottom end. laughing.gif

but anyway, no manufacture would produce a motor with that much bore and that little stroke. but they're making power with it so..... BTW the cranks in those things cost more than what some people can afford to pay out of pocket alone.

actually you couldnt be further from the truth. in comparison to a shee motor of equal PERFORMANCE (not horsepower) it is the cheaper route. i believe the cranks alone are around $1000 because they are beefy as all hell and done by Crankworks.

i want to run a saber in a lonestar or dave moore frame some day but ill wait to see how the turbo sabertooth holds up. its already made 151whp on multiple runs.

I'm sure the turbo version will be nothing less than impressive. Its good to see somone tinkering with these options.
I've heard rumors of a 650cc Suzuki motor for the old QuadRacers in the works also...not by these folks.
I'm sure your right about the cost comparison of the banshee motor... the majority of us cannot even understand how much $$ it costs to go that fast..

I'm too much of a low-buck player, trying to go fast with next to nothing.

I know a guy named DuneAddict,he's has one for his hybrid,he still has'nt got his cylinder back from the people that are doing it for him,he said I should be making around 100hp to the wheels.

I believe the guy's name is Calvin Polett of CP Industries that made the Sabertooth. He might be the one making the Zuk cylinders that you're talking about. God knows he's already done enough with the banshee and honda thus far. I wouldnt be surprised if he released a zuki cylinder.
