Apparently when I crashed and rolled my Raptor back in September I bent my rear axle.

I didn't notice it on the sand but when I went trail riding I saw the right rear wheel bouncing a bit.
What happens if I don't change it? Will my carrier bearings eventually go bad?
I am planning to change it and am looking for some recommendations...
From Rocky Mountain ATV it looks like I have three choices:
Durablue
G Force
Lonestar
Anyone know of better prices elsewhere or is Rocky as low as it gets?
Thanks...

I went with Lonestar when I replaced mine.

Ya, I would go with:
1) Lonestar
2) Durablue
3) G Force
JJ&A no question about it.

I think any after market will do.
Durablue on my Raptor, no problems yet!!
Axcalibur on the 250r, no problems either!!
It's a matter of preference, and money!!
and weight.

FOR DUNE RIDING, I THINK ANY AFTERMARKET WOULD DO TOO....
FOR THE RECORD THOUGH, MY BUDDY HAS HAD A DURABLUE ON HIS 99 EX SINCE IT WAS NEW, WITH NO PROBLEMS.... ANYTHING IS BETTER THEN STOCK ON THOSE THINGS THOGUH....

This same conversation happened on another board recently....I think the G-Force is the way to go....
All the axles named carry a lifetime guarantee but some prorate that gaurantee...DuraBlue does....I have heard of people breaking a number of DuraBlue axles and personally witnessed one break on an 80's 250r. The first one will be replaced free but they prorate after that. Not a good enough program based on their prices.
The LSR and Axcalibur are probably the strongest but they are really price prohibitive IMHO. Don't know about their guarantees but most likely ironclad since most racers use them.
I will try a GForce next season on my R and see how they do....I weigh 240ish so I will put that sucker to the test....lol.
