1st Annual Spring 4x4 Ethics and the Environment Can They Co-Exist? Contest!

Contest Description:
Write an essay on the environment and 4-wheeling.
Include your thoughts on how motorized recreation affects
ecological suggestion along with one or two possible solutions.

Ideas - Your essay topic can be on your own experience, the effects
of peeing (humans and dogs) on cryptobiotic soil, the effects of making
ghost trails, or whatever you think you'd like to address having to do
with 4-wheeling in the back country from an ethical perspective.

Two Categories:
1. Short Essay - 500 words or less
2. Long Essay 1000-1500 words or less (no more than 2 pages)

Prizes:
There will be prizes for the two top essays in the long and
short category as well as a runner up in each category.

Many excellent prizes, including recovery kits, gas cans, DVDs,
recovery equipment and more are being donated from
ARB, Expedition Exchange, British Pacific,
4-Wheeling America and other 4x4-related businesses.

General Contest Rules:

Please read, understand and agree to all rules before submitting
your entry. Relatives of bb4wa and employees of businesses who
donate prizes are not eligible for entry.

1. Please make every effort to edit your work for spelling,
grammar, and punctuation.

2. Submissions will only be accepted in text format as a
Word or RTF document attached to your email. Email your
entry to bb4wa@bb4wa.com with Contest in Subject line.
3. Include your contact information with your submission.
This information will NOT be used for any purpose other than
to ship your prize if you are one of the winners.

4. Plagiarism is not acceptable. Essay must be in your own words.

5. All entries will become the property of 4-Wheeling America.
Winning entries will possibly be posted on our website, in 4x4
magazines and other media.

Entries must be received by June 21, the first day of summer.
