Hey I'm looking to do some testing on the old Pinto and a few friends are talking about wanting to test some of their summer mods out as well.

So we're thinking about a little saturday afternoon trip to Buttercup this weekend. Anyone interested in joining us?

If I make it out there I usually park on the east or south side of the circle, just look for my Red/White Ramcharger or if you see my Blue Pinto rail in the dunes flag me down.

Or drop me an e-mail. Still no plans on when we're heading out or if it will happen for sure but thought I'd give you guys a heads up.

We'll all be thinkin about you as we tip some cold brew by the pool and in the [Angry Fire] ROOM.

The toolbox is always full and I stick to my summer rules:

1 gallon of water per person per hour that I'll be out.

Don't drive further than you're able to walk out.

That's why we hit Buttercup in the summer. You can have lots of fun without ever loosing sight of your tow vehicle.

Wish I could make it to the party but none of my vehicles are good for a trip that far [Frown] Heck I'm renting a truck again this year so I can make it to the SSSS!

Can't go this weekend, but post when you are going again. I am always down for a Buttercup run.

Will do Red. After October hits normally we're out at Buttercup or Gordon's just about every weekend that one of these things dosen't happen:

1) our toys are broken
2) There's a big weekend at glamis
3) funds are low
4) Gotta go out of town.

The decision is normally made around lunch time on Friday or sometimes not until saturday evening. But I'll post before we head out anway [Smile]

I'm trying to choose a date for a Gordon's well gathering but since my group isn't good about planning ahead I'm having a hard time setting a date and time.
Chummin
I would love a BUTTerCUPs are double D.. run...

let me know and I/we might have to make it..
2+ hours is nothing for a good ride..

Hey Chummin, it takes the same amount of time to get to Glamis as it does to get to Buttercup and Gordon's from Klantee, I mean Santee [Disturbed] . I just like a little variety, so I go to all 3 during the season.

Looks like I'm not going to make it out today after all. My truck is acting up. It's being a pain to start and is sputtering at certian RPM's at times.

I suspect a fuel problem but am going to have to spend today crawling underneeth it to figure it out [Frown]
