Anyone have any suggestions/reccomendations for a steering wheel. Also, I am going to need some kind of a steering wheel hub. 3 bolt...5 bolt...I don't know. Sorry, newbie here, first buggy. BTW I'm using r&p steering, with a custom steering shaft bearing

I use a Momo race series 13" machined my own hub adapter but you can buy them now if your not going to run power steering I would sugest something non leather wrapped it slips though your hands easily unlike a sweade wrapped one that grips great just my .02

I have a TPM (True Position Machine) wheel and love it. They are billet alum. and hand sewn leather. Or Dave will custom wrap it in any color or material you want. Great quality and great customer service. He also has quite a few different designs and sizes.

I don't have the shop # so here's his cell #. Tell him Darien sent you.

Momo's are nice and the billet ones are cool but their all expensive. Pacific Customs carries a grant steering wheel for about $40. If you need an adapter it's another $15.

Depending on the diameter desired, I found that some kart shops have great deals on wheels. Try www.stratoskarts.com
for a Caliba kart wheel for $30.88.

I think it's a foam rubber over steel type.

I agree, I would have never bought one but my son bought this one for a gift and it is the best wheel I have ever had. I also had to make my own adpator to the QR,
couldn't find one at the time.

I just bought one of these. Pretty cool for the price. I like the "D" shaped ones.

Yup.
Grant has one of those for sale as well. I think Jeg's has it for 79.95 or so.

Might want to look inot a "Mychron3 systems." They're karting data acquisition systems that are integrated into the 'D'shaped steering wheels. The basic one has two T-couples, one 19,999 graph/tach, and a speedo. It also has a timer for total run time. For less than $400.00.

Yes, the 2 big gauges are speedo and tach.
