I wish, still waiting on my starter. But a friend loaned me an 1835 VW motor last night and it's in the Baja. Just waiting for someone else to show up with a carb and we'll be heading out to jackrabbit to test it!

ANd he just called 5 minutes till he gets here!

Had a good time today. It was nice to be able to dune during the daytime.

How did the Baja run?

Runs great - just won't drive anywhere yet.

Still have to adjust the clutch tweak the timing and adjust the carb. By the time we got it running today it was almost dark so I decided to give up for the day. I'll have evenings all week (except tuesday!) to mess with it.
