Maybe some of the basic Bilsteins would work well and not too bad on price.....

The 5150's are a nice shock.
Sandhopper are you wondering what length you need? Measure from your Shock mount Bung to the Shock mount on your bottom arm when the bottom arm is in regular posisition without any weight and that whill be your eye-to-eye length. Then just look for the travel that best suits your accomidations.
As far as shocks go and a smooth ride i think you'd be really happy with some Fox 2.0 with Res. I just picked up a set of these for the front and 2.5" s with res in the rear. Should work out pretty nice.
