It's a mid-travel car with Tatum discs front and rear. 2 piston in the front, and 4 piston in the rear. This is a budget build, so I want to keep the price under control....but at the same time, I would rather spend a few more bucks to get a nice piece, then save a few bucks and get a piece of crap. Also, any suggestions on where I should get it from???

floor mount

CNC floor mount like the one above. Two Master Cyls means one to each end of the car - Nice to have if you get air in the lines or one fails for some reason.
THen you just turn the knob at the base of the pedals to adjust the amount of throw in each so you can apply 70% braking to the rear and 30% to the front or what have you.
The Clutch pedal comes with the slave also.
Gas Pedal is easy as well.
There ya go.. go get them and have fun. They are not expensive!!!
TIP - If the package you get is opened or looks opened - before you leave the place your buying them - Inspect the threads for the brake lines carefully.. I went through 2 sets and was gonna get the shaft - but Revenge stepped up and got me the refund..

also....get the tops that screw on, they are a different top. makes it easier to add fluid, bleed brakes.
And another thing I learned...Kartek has check valves that screw into the back of the resorvoir, then connect the line. Maintains positive pressure in the lines

So for the brakes...

and the clutch...

(you can get rectanguler reservoirs too)
Or if you choose to run a single reservoir for the brakes you can use one of these setups...

Get the large dual reservoir.
Unless you like to live dangerously.

If I get the large dual reservoir, can I do without the bias valve???

How much do you expect your car to weigh when its done?
IMHO I think that if its a lighter car (under 1800#s) the dual rezzies are overkill. Obviously an added safety item with the dual rezzies and valve but if your doing it on a budget its not a must have.
Our car has the single rezzie on it, weighs about 1700#'s and I have no problems with stopping it with this set up.

I just heard that i have to buy a different fitting to a 7/8" because i have Tatum 4 piston brakes..........is this true? i'm not sure what size the setup i have right now is, it's CNC from kartek like the one above with a single res. Brake and clutch assembly.
I was told i could just take it to kartek and they'd switch it out for me.

We've had constant problems with CNC pedals. I switched to Jamar and haven't had a problem since. mainly because the reservoirs are machined billet vs cast aluminum. Anyway, if you want to use Jamar pedals i can help you out. Best prices available along with a warranty.

I already decided I want to use Jamar pedals instead of CNC. If you could hook me up that would be great.

What number should I call to order from you??? I have had a few bad experiences with Kartek lately. It seems like they don't like taking phone orders anymore

I don't know what happened. They used to be so helpful. Anyway, I would rather order from another forum member whenever I can.

Reservoirs leak, seals keep going out, two sets have had reservoirs snap off. After dealling with in on several cars i just switched. With Jamar i can deal directly with the owner, he ships them almost immediately, he knows what i'm thinking without me even finishing my sentence.
I like dealing with the owners of the product. That's why we've always delt with king over fox, PRP & Racecraft vs Beard, etc. I like dealing directly with the owners of the companies from whom i buy.

WOW I have never had those problems. I feel like sometimes I am missing a bullet on things. I will count my blessings I guess. How come you don't buy your CNC pedals from CNC? As a builder fabricator I figured you would be able to. I totally agree with dealing direct with the company. Sucks to go threw a middle man.
