I think name is important on parts when it relates to service. Examples:
King Shocks - Great shocks, great service
Jamar Perofrmance - Great Peddles, Great Service
Gear-One - Great Axles, Good Service
OMF - Great Beadlocks, Greatest Service
Other Examples:
STU Great Tires, Poor Service
Extreme Paddles - Good Paddle (depending on size), good service
It goes on and on. Use the brand name when it realtes to better service. you might pay a little extra for the name (unless it's robby gordon wheels then you pay a crapload for the name) but the service will offset the prices.

I agree with that. Those fall into my critical to function catagory. But that billet grab handle does not need to say Empi or CB.

Correct, in a sense. You can get cheapy import billet brake line clamps for $10. Sometimes the fit great, most of the time they don't fit so great. Spend $14 on a custom machined one and the consistantcy is always there along with the quality.
Speaking of, if anyone needs billet dome lights, billet brake line clamps or billet shock resevoir clamps, i have tons in stock from the machinest.
