Hey I know there are a bunch of people on the board who go to St Anthonys every year. We are leaving next week for a week.
Just out of curiosity. What should we look for ie: any certain hill or location that is fun to go. Is there a place where everyone likes to go in the dunes OK FINE WHERE ARE THE SWEET SPOTS!!

Where are you staying? If it's Desert Oasis, the first big hill you will come to is Thunder Mountain. Not really very big, but a few people usually hang out there.

Some of the other hot spots are Choke Cherry Hill, very steep and long hill climb. Cool place to hang and watch the hill shooters. Deadhorse bowl is a huge bowl and also check out Devils Dune. Don't have GPS for the spots, maybe someone else does.

We are staying at the Desert Oasis. I will be there 06/29 - 07/05. I hope to see everyone out there so we can tag along on some rides!

We will be in spot 12...hopefully late Sunday night, Monday if we have any issues. Twelve is the very first spot as you come down the road from the dunes. Kerrin and Wayne are at the end of the next row (the middle one), I think Socaldmax is next to them. Bohica and Duneflyer are at the other end (down by the showers). You are always more than welcome to come along on a ride

Actually, I honestly don't think you'll be able to go more than 1-2 trailers before being at someone off the boards trailer!

Brandon...we'll also be at the D.O., pulling in the afternoon of the 1st (hopefully) Don't know our spot numbers, but we're in the back row of the full hookup area somewhere. Hope to get to meet you and check out your nice ride. And like Julie said, is your dad gonna be there too?

I think next year we should just reserve the whole hook up area...

Yes My dad is going we will have both our cars out there. His new car is being completed as we speak. We will all for sure get together. I would like to go to the potluck so I will look at the list and figure out what to bring.

On the way out there, is there a half way point where everyone stays or do you push through in one day?

Lots of t-storms in the forecast. Looks to be clearing for my arrival on the 3rd.

We drive around 12 hours just past Salt Lake and spent the night in a mall parking lot. Short 4 hour drive from there early the next morning.

Just loaded the rail in the trailer We leave tommorrow night. June 26th-July 2nd or 3rd if we have enough gas. Arriving @ desert oasis on Sunday morning. Packing a rain jacket just in case

BTW-
Our biggest thing is to get NORTH of Salt Lake before we stop-traffic there in the AM is the absolute PITS as 15 is the only "real" freeway.

It seems to be bad there from noon on thru the afternoon as well, I've gotten slowed way down there the last 2 yrs from afternoon "rush" hour.

I got it in March. Its a VW so I could use some of your expertise tuning it . Are you bringing the mobile garage this year?

I Just heard from Mike and Joyce... They just hit Utah... Should make it to Idaho tomorrow, no problem.

I was just loading my stuff up then it started raining like a motha...Had to stop ... I just want to get on the effin' road.

it's gonna be great....from what I hear, the bestest dunes around, and getting to meet some new friends to go with the old ones....gonna be hard to leave I'm sure..

We're just a couple hours from leaving. A little more loading and we're off...... I can't wait to see everyone up there. You are right BeachHead nothing vaction always ends so quick. A week and a half just isn't long enough. Have fun!
