I am headed to Idaho next Tuesday and am trying to figure out if I need to change the jets in my car for the altittude. It's a 2332 Kenny Major motor with duall 44's. I have asked 4 different people and the answers are split. Can somebody help, or am I the only non fuel injected car going? laughing.gif
Thanks

It's at 5,000 ft, os it'll definitely be rich. If you're kinda rich now, you'll probably want to rejet... I'd vote rejet, if you don't mind the hassle.

Even with the rejet, you're still gonna be down on power, I've heard about 20%, and that's about what it felt like.

We didn't in her 2233 and it ran "ok".AS far as the 2 strokes "REJET THEM" I didn't and it sucked a$$. Still had fun full throttle in the dunes but no hill climbing from the base.
BTW all you guys out there this weekend make a pass at ChokeCherryHill for me. That is the best hill ever! Have fun. Next best place to G IMOP.

Ask PaPa Perry about the $$$ climb to the top.

MY QUADS RAN LIKE CRAP ( I did not have my buggy yet at the time) But once I rejetted there and tinkered for a while it ran fine!

DONT forget to change them back when you get home!!!!!! That can suck!

Lean it out, you can also add some timing for the higher altitude. VW's are almost as bad as two strokes. Any small engine is more noticeable if the jet is off.
