Ok, I know that the Honda civic/ Integra motors spin backwards so that got me thinking....

If you ran it mid engine with a bus trans would it work? or would you just have one forward gear and four reverse?

The direction the tires turn will be correct but it will still use the back side of the gears which cuts the strength?

I was looking at doing this exact same thing a couple of years ago. Rancho told me that if you run a rear engine trans in a mid engine car or visa versa, that it would work....meaning you could get it to turn, but as the weazel said, you will be running on the ramp side of the R+P and it will break. Mendeola makes a reverse rotation R+P for their trans. Also, s2k1 ran a h23a and made it standard rotation. but was very comlex to convert.
